The short answer: Frankie J's Friday rant answers it word for word: "You don't need more motivation. You need fewer decisions in the morning. Same walk. Same scorecard. Same three priorities. Boring works. Boring is the point."
Why motivation is the wrong fuel
Starting runs on motivation; follow-through runs on systems. Motivation is weather — it changes by the hour, and it is never there at 5:30 on a cold morning. A man who waits to feel like it has outsourced his standard to his mood.
The kill
Reduce the morning to decisions already made: wake time fixed, walk first, priorities written the night before. When there is nothing to decide, there is nothing for low motivation to negotiate with. Then score the day — the scorecard grades behavior, not feelings.
What replaces it
Evidence. Thirty days of kept commitments changes what a man believes about himself more than any speech — including his own. Motivation follows proof; it rarely precedes it.

- Why follow-through fails — and the fix — systems over motivation, in full
- The 5:30 wake — the decision made once, kept daily
- Proof — what actually replaces motivation
